Friends do NOT let friends buy anything PROMAG. Crap is too kind a word to describe the quality of PROMAG. Buy factory ruger mags. CDNN sports has some good buys on Ruger. --------------------------------- We unfortunately will vote our way into socialism. The end result will be having to shoot our way out of it.

X2 I have tried every non factory mag I could find in my mini-14 to no avail. The ONLY mags that work in MY mini-14 are stamped RUGER, don't waste your time & money on cheaper!

I bought a 10-round one that is not quite reliable loaded with 5 rounds. The spring is too strong for the bolt to strip the top round. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

I have 2 mil surplus M16 20 rd mags. Drilled a hole in em and they work fine. Prefer the 5 rd factory mag though as the 20 rds are too heavy to carry and stick out to far, ie, snag on everything.
