Thoughts on the new .308 Marlin Express?

I know it's early, but I was wondering whether anyone knew anything about this yet? The blurb isn't terribly informative.

Is this anything more than a new opportunity to sell you factory ammo for $35/box?

I would like to see some case deminsions and capacities. Looks to me like they have created the 307 Winchester all over again. 308 velocities in a rimmed case for lever guns.
