The normal magnum action is long enough the mag box isn't. Contact Ruger or maybe Brownells(part D22704 for $10.95) and get the long magbox and maybe a new follower(when I do a M70 I get by with the normal mag follower), rechamber and off you go. You might have to do a little wood or fiberglass removal for the box to fit.
