Wanted to give you fellas a heads up that WalMart has placed their Vanguards on sale for $249. The wood stocks are $349. I picked up a Vanguard Select in 30-06 yesterday for $273 out the door. I bought a Ruger American in 30-06 a few years ago for $199. I think I will be keeping the Vanguard and selling the american. Make a great truck gun I don't have to worry about.

I was in Selma, AL. I know most of the Walmart’s across Alabama had them on clearance. I would assume the rest of the country too. They didn’t have this one marked down but I asked him to scan it and it came up $249.
