| Way to go. In the quest for speed most hunters do not realize just how good the "medium" bore rifles really are. I am a big fan of the 300 Magnums for shots over 200 yards....But I much prefer a "medium" if shots are 200 yards or under. And the more "under they are the better I like it. And I like my medium in a double rifle thank you. |

| .358,
Do you use a scope on your .358 BLR or do you stick with iron sights?

| I thought you had been trying to sell that old rifle! Why mess with success? I just got mine finished, and am loving it. |

| Hey Crock, Congratulations on the Bear. I thought you were totally out of that powder. I'm still watching the Gun Shows for some and if I find it, I'll get it for you.
Congratulations again! |

| Well, if anyone out there is wondering if the .358Win. is a good bear cartridge you've pretty well answered the question. Best wishes.

| I have had a hard time getting 250 grain Hornadys or Speers to open up out of my .358 win. Finally I settled on the 225 Woodleigh which opens up nicely for me.
...just my personal experience. |
