Any recommendations for a good quality day pack. Not looking to carry huge loads.

Thanks,

I use a sling bag for daily light loads when hunting,, my bag is no longer available (Eureka Lil Dog) but there are plenty of good sling bags around as simple or complicated as you like. They are used on the off shoulder where they don't interfere with the gun sling.

I still use just an old fashioned haversack. I made mine patterned after my grandfather's and I've used my first one for nearly 40 years. Made my new one couple of years ago out of oil cloth.
