Thanks Whitworth for posting!!...Bison in Wyoming at 60 yds,crept up on a small heard and picked this guy out.Bam,one shot in the shoulder from my Smith 500 P Center 6.5" w/500 gr Hornady XTP went 4 ft into rear hip(weighed 499 grs afterwards,perfect shroom!)...Well,I thought I missed as he didnt budge,flinch,jump,scream or nothing?!?!Guide said,no,good hit,look close when he breaths,steam is coming out the hole(it was very Cold)...Then he fell over and died!....The two 50/110 BFR Conversions in the pic above were both done by my good friend Jack Huntington.They are 5" and 7" Barrels and Kick a "Tad".He does fantastic work and is reasonable with his prices. Very nice Bison and love the guns. So the Bison was taken with a S&W 500 Mag, cool. And people think a 500 Mag is a big round, your 50-110 is truly a beast.
