Does anyone know if the new S&W Classic series grips are the same as the older ones. I need a set of Crimson Trace grips to fit the newer Classic 25 .45LC. Haven't even recieved the revolver yet and need to order the grips asap for Christmas presents.

Thanks and Merry Christmas, Louis

I don't know the answer, but for this type question I think I would go straight to the source and call S&W. Their number's on their web-site. I had some grip questions about my 629 Classic when I bought it and they were real helpful.

Only difference might be a round frame or square.take off grips and look and order accordingly.

I am not so sure that the new "Classics" are though. Seems the M29 I saw had a square butt.
