Is anybody using this scope on a handgun? I am finding conflicting information on the eye relief for the scope. Some sources say 4-29" and others say 14-29". Would one of you, who has the scope, tell me what kind of sight picture you get with the scope 5 to 6" from the eye? I am hoping to find a good low powered scope that works at that distance for my Ruger #1. Thanks, Jesse

I have a K2.5 on my .458 WM Ruger. Why are you looking at a handgun scope for a No.1? If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

To get the scope 6" away from my face so that I can clear the loading port. On most Ruger #1's the scope is so far back that the loading and unloading is hindered.

Get a leupold 2.5x compact rifle scope. It has 5" of eye relief. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time.

Okay, fair enough. I suggest you look at intermediate eye relief scopes; the handgun scopes may have too much of a good thing. If ignorance is bliss; there are some blissful sonofaguns around here. We know who you are, so no reason to point yourselves out.

For the money I’ve found that the Weaver 2x28 Scope is excellent on my handgun, However from curiosity of your request I measured the sight distance of full view. From my eye (1 inch almost black out) until it came into to full view at 9 3/4 to 10 inches then clear out to full arms length. Hope that helps you Vg
