I haven't seen one in person, but I like the pictures. Several years ago TC used to make a the Scout Carbine and pistol. I think that's what it was called anyway. They are more money, but look pretty good. They don't allow Black powder handguns for hunting in Idaho unfortunatly.

I have a Knight Hawkeye 50cal Stainless Steel I purchased used. I haven’t shot it yet because the person I bought it from had changed the sights from Williams to TC. Normally this would not have been a bad thing but he forgot to say that one of the front screws was sheered off. I contacted Knight and ordered a new set of Williams sights but the mounting holes don’t match my pistol.
The Hawkeye is a nice pistol but not something I would like to carry for a second shot because it is two big and heavy. Knight discontinued manufacture of this pistol many years ago.

Thomson Center used to make a TC Scout pistol a nice looking pistol but also heavy and quite large, but TC discontinued manufacture also.

I have heard that some states will let you use a cap and ball revolver if it is legal in your state you might check them out they are not so big and bulky.
