Lar45I haven't seen one in person, but I like the pictures. Several years ago TC used to make a the Scout Carbine and pistol. I think that's what it was called anyway. They are more money, but look pretty good. They don't allow Black powder handguns for hunting in Idaho unfortunatly.

Lloyd Smaleknight does or at least did make a hunting handgun too.

Swede44magI have a Knight Hawkeye 50cal Stainless Steel I purchased used. I haven’t shot it yet because the person I bought it from had changed the sights from Williams to TC. Normally this would not have been a bad thing but he forgot to say that one of the front screws was sheered off. I contacted Knight and ordered a new set of Williams sights but the mounting holes don’t match my pistol.
The Hawkeye is a nice pistol but not something I would like to carry for a second shot because it is two big and heavy. Knight discontinued manufacture of this pistol many years ago.
Thomson Center used to make a TC Scout pistol a nice looking pistol but also heavy and quite large, but TC discontinued manufacture also.
I have heard that some states will let you use a cap and ball revolver if it is legal in your state you might check them out they are not so big and bulky.
