I got a 6.5" raging bull 454 a couple weeks ago and am very happy with it. I shot some 250 grain winchester loads through it. The medium velocity load @1450 f.p.s. They are nice to shoot and accurate. Also shot some CCI Blaser 200 gr 45 colts through it. They are accurate also. Today I shot some 360 cor-bon penetrators through it. @1500 fps. That pistol handles them nice. They did kick but the grips are soft so it wasn't bad. I think my 4 5/8 in blackhawk .41 mag with 293 gr @1275 kicks more. It would leave grip marks on my hand from the rubber grips. The taurus didn't leave any marks . | ||

Congrats of choosing a fine pistol. The factory manual says not to shoot the 45 Long Colt bullets in the gun. I have asked about this and was informed it had to do with lead and fowling build up causing excessive pressure when switching back to 454s I clean my cylinder after shooting 45 Long Colts and have had no problem.
