I bought some of the LBT wide meplat bullets for my 6" M29. With 2400 I get near 1400 fps with very good accuracy. I "helped out" a friend the other day and plunked one into the ribs of a decent sized elk he had wounded. The results were an in and out wound through the ribs, catching both lungs. Down he went. So now I know that at 50 yds they will work on an elk if broadside. Anyone have any input on these bullets?? I'm also thinking of getting one of the S&W Stealth Hunters, 7 1/2" barrel, with the Birdsong green/black finish. My old M29 isn't going to survive a steady diet of these 255's at 1400 fps. Anyone have any experience with the Stealth Hunter?? FN in MT

Frank This is one of my favorite 44 bullets. I have found best accuracy at to end speeds also. I use H110. Lots of speed with a big splat! I have got better accuracy with this than with the 300 LFN style. Have fun. Hcliff
