Barnes is now making their "Buster" line of flat nose solids for 44,45,458 (45-70) and .500" for ultimate straight line penetration in a copper non deforming solid. I like the option for a 400 grain 45-70 solid.

Just FYI

They will have to put a tiny little hole in the end to get around the ATF regulations for AP for handguns. I can't wait to try some in my .454. Not that penetration is lacking from hard cast.
