Has anyone shot he 305 Grain Penatrator by Cor-Bon bullet for Bear. I was looking at shooting it out of my .44 mag Performance center Hunter Model by S & W. The velocity is about 1100 at 100yards? Will it take the shoulders out? Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent. DRSS .470 & .500 | ||

I don't have a doubt in my mind. Haven't shot a bear with a handgun but a friend has shot several and with all kinds of loads. I can tell you that a 320 gr HC will shoot through both shoulders of a moose, and shoot pretty much through the full length of a moose. NRA Life Member AGCA Life Member | |||
