305 Grain Penatrator by Cor-Bon

Has anyone shot he 305 Grain Penatrator by Cor-Bon bullet for Bear. I was looking at shooting it out of my .44 mag Performance center Hunter Model by S & W. The velocity is about 1100 at 100yards? Will it take the shoulders out?

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

I have shot these out of my Desert Eagle in .440 Corbon but not at any animals. I know cinder blocks and pine boards won't stop it.

I don't have a doubt in my mind. Haven't shot a bear with a handgun but a friend has shot several and with all kinds of loads. I can tell you that a 320 gr HC will shoot through both shoulders of a moose, and shoot pretty much through the full length of a moose.
