LISTED ON OTHER FORUMS, FIRST "I'LL TAKE IT" TIME STAMP GOVERNS

This was my first reloading press, purchased in 1955, darn, it sure don't seem like 70 years ago; loaded my last shell on it within the last 6 months (Everything from 38-40 to 243 WSSM to the venerable old 375 h&h and everything in between, so it is very experienced! No charge for the experience. Darn if I don't believe that if you were to put a bunch of components on the bench beside the old girl and turn the light off, you might come back the next morning to a batch of freshly loaded ammo. Wink ) Can't claim low mileage, but it does perform just as when it was new. Here's what it looked like just before I unbolted it from the bench, I have knocked some dust off of it since. If you want to swage bullets or form wildcats, this heavy old press is up to any task you throw at it. $50.00 + $30 shipping

Shell holders included are: #11, 32-20 ; #19 9mm LUGER *; (2)#6 38 spl/357; (2) #21, 308/30-06**; (2) #8, 375h&h/243 WSSM***; PLUS AN ADAPTOR TO USE ANY RCBS SHELL HOLDER + RCBS 30-06 AND M1 Carbine shell holders.
*Might have to face this one off a tad to accept current 9mm luger brass. I have loaded 9mm many years ago w/this shell holder but apparently the groove is shallower on new ammo. It does, however fit .223 Rem. as is.
**One of the #21 shell holder was faced off to provide proper headspace w/a set of dies I had.
*** Apparently there were two slightly different head sizes; the regular belted mag shell holder I used for years did not accept the WSSM cases, so the one in the ram is for the newer brass (WSSM). I believe it will work fine on older brass as well, thus 2 #8's.
Large and small priming arms included, which work only w/original Herter's shell holders; you cannot prime in the press w/RCBS shell holders, but not to worry, I'm throwing in a couple of Lee hand priming tools, which I prefer to seating primers in any press as you can feel when primer seated properly.
All this and I'll throw in this 1975 Herter's catalog for old times sake.

What a great nostalgic but useful piece of equipment! They really built stuff to last back then (a lesson we have sadly lost). Just curious, do you have any idea why it sits at an angle? . . .

Yes it is built like a tank. IDK why but back then many of the presses were built on a slight angle. Pacific, C&H, etc.

You will be glad to know those bullets I just got from you will be loaded on my old Herters press.
I still use mine as my primary single stage press, it looks like yours but uses screw-on shell holders.
