I want buy an original bolt for a commercial FN Mauser. I would prefer a standard bolt face but may go with a magnum. I would prefer a Bolt Body with Extractor and Extractor Collar, but am open to what is available from stripped bolt body up to a complete bolt assembly. I have a nice FN receiver, triggerguard/floorplate, and trigger.

I have an as new military FN bolt, even has the beveled cut for the extractor to grip the case during extraction same as a 98. The handle would have to be changed to commercial style. Also have a Wisner 2 position safety I would include. PM if interested.

You do realize that the FN is just a 98 and that any bolt will work. I literally, this week, installed an Arg 09 bolt into an FN commercial receiver. I welded on an FN handle last night.

I have an FN military Mauser made in 1940 with a Nazi bolt. That just won’t do!

I know any standard length M98 bolt would fit. I wanted it to be all commercial FN is all.

The FN receiver has a deep notch for the bolt handle. My friend makes a fine bolt handle conversion which doesn't require the receiver notch, but I already have a notched receiver and matching notch on the FN stock. I know an Interarms Mark X is a clone as well, but it is not FN. Picky..picky..I know.

Thanks for replies and options. I may look into one as I have a Standard Modell without a bolt as well. Stuff just fell into my lap last week.
