My father passed away and I'd like to use his rifle this year on a deer hunt so I am on a nostalgia quest. Federal Premium loaded a 60gr partition in 22-250 a few years ago and I'd like to find a box or even a partial box of 10-15. Federal Fusions could work too. Thank you for looking. And I know all about the controversy using a 22-250. It is just what he always used and was very successful. He even started me out with a 222 which I used to kill my first 2 mule deer bucks.

My father loved the .22-250 on our whitetail. He passed a two and a half years ago. I kept a few of his .22-250s and ammo. Let me see what I have and will send it to you for cost of shipping. That’s only because the last time I shipped ammunition it was a PITA. I meant to be DSC Member...bad typing skills. Marcus Cady DRSS

Thanks for being willing to look. Sounds like our fathers would have created a lot of controversial threads on the internet. haha Sorry for your loss and I'm glad you were able to keep a few of his rifles for the memories.

I killed my first mule deer with a 220 swift. I was using hand loads with Sisk 49 grain Express bullets. These were tough jacketed bullets made for game. Craftsman

I bought two boxes of this ammo about 8-9 years ago on clearance from Academy for like $12 a box. I wish they would have had more. Maybe have a half box left or I could help you. Have heard several people here in Alabama using the Winchester PowerPoint 64gr for their kids to hunt with good results. May see if you can find that if your Partition hunt strikes out. He mostly used PSP ammo. I just like something a little more substantial. I will look into the power points if nothing else turns up. Some Federal Fusions would be good too. I appreciate the feedback.
