Farthest I've ever shot a .22 offhand was a measly 75 yards at milk jugs, although I usually hit them 4 or 5 out of 5 shots.

I watched 2 guys having a contest with Martini's one day. At 100yds niether one could prevail shooting dandylions,so they decide that it had to take 2 rounds to drop them. One round was to split the top and the second was to drop it. I seem to recall that the older fellow won. derf
