Pound a roofing nail into a golf ball (just a little ways), tie 2 to 3 feet of string to the nail, and tie the string to a 2 x 4 frame with the golf ball about 2 to 3 feet off the ground.

Get back 50 yards (or more) and shoot at the golf ball. When you get a good hit that ball goes WILD, but don't just graze it, you now have a moving target!

Oh, by the way, this is a timed event between you and several other shooters (say, 5 targets each).

A fun thing for kids is to use NECCO wafers...you do remember NECCO wafers don't you? A dot of glue on one side to hold them on the paper. When they break, the squeals from the young ones is fantastic. One problem, the little ones may eat all your targets.
