Well do you think the $199 is all that? or should I have spent the money for the $500 dollar Ruger......
Not. She's not the prettiest little gun but she fun, cheap to shoot and very accurate.

I got the Marlin Camp Carbine in 9mm and it was well worth it. I topped it with an Aim Point red dot. It groups well at 50 yds and makes a perfect.....camp carbine.

I got the Camp 45 when an associate died and his widow liquidated the collection. I've seen the 9milli's and had no interest. Now the 40S&W version of the Ruger, hmmm that has possibilities. Does anybody know if they're gas operated or are they straight blowback? The reason I ask is because it would be real easy to rechamber to 10mm. Another idea I came up with was when a friend picked up a Ruger .44 carbine. I suggested a rebarrel to .50 action express as it's designed to work in the place of .44 Rem mag. and the gun is a gas operated rotary bolt like the AR-15. If you think the 9's are fun, you should try the juiced up version!
