Crimp_meThose Cheap Carbines!
Well do you think the $199 is all that? or should I have spent the money for the $500 dollar Ruger......
Not. She's not the prettiest little gun but she fun, cheap to shoot and very accurate.

alfsauveI got the Marlin Camp Carbine in 9mm and it was well worth it. I topped it with an Aim Point red dot. It groups well at 50 yds and makes a perfect.....camp carbine.

ToolmakerI got the Camp 45 when an associate died and his widow liquidated the collection. I've seen the 9milli's and had no interest. Now the 40S&W version of the Ruger, hmmm that has possibilities. Does anybody know if they're gas operated or are they straight blowback? The reason I ask is because it would be real easy to rechamber to 10mm. Another idea I came up with was when a friend picked up a Ruger .44 carbine. I suggested a rebarrel to .50 action express as it's designed to work in the place of .44 Rem mag. and the gun is a gas operated rotary bolt like the AR-15. If you think the 9's are fun, you should try the juiced up version!
