Hey i was wondering if anyone has used the new targets from Champion or Hoppes, one of the two. they feel like plastic and claim that the bullets pass though and the target remains sound for thousands of rounds. i was interested in the praire dog spinners.

No but I saw them at a gunshow last fall.
The used one hardly looked used at all.

With varmint cartridges i have shot small steel gongs at 200 & 300 yards and they work great. Anybody with a welder can make his own.

The synthetic targets work really well.
We used some gongs and the little target balls at the last couple machine gun shoots. Those things held up MUCH better than I expected. They soaked up everything from 22 to 50 bmg.
