You didn't give the maker on the bullet you are using. Alliant shows 4.2g of Bullseye behind a 147g XTP in Win. cases and a WSP Primer (listing at 1010 fps from a 4" bbl. / o.a.l. 1.140"). Scout Master 54 | |||

One way to develop a starting load is to take the max load with out damage to the gun or brass, and the minimum load without the bullet getting stuck n the barrel, and average the two. Because I have been shooting 11 gr. of Power Pistol [formerly known as Bullseye 84] with 158 gr. in a 9x19mm, I suspect that the 3.0 gr. of Bullseye is closer to the bottom than the top. | |||
