I picked up a 454 Casull and will probably get brass for it soon. Has anyone here used or knows if you can use 45 colt dies? Seems to me it would be a bit like the .38/357 die set up. If it cant be Grown it has to be Mined! Devoted member of Newmont mining company Underground Mine rescue team. Carlin East,Deep Star ,Leeville,Deep Post ,Chukar and now Exodus Where next? Pete Bajo to train newbies on long hole stoping and proper blasting techniques. Back to Exodus mine again learning teaching and operating autonomous loaders in the underground. The same as 38/357 and 44spl/44mag, you can use the 45 colt dies backed out the same distance as the difference between the two case lengths. Many use a washer between the die lock ring and the press. Thanks cal I figured it would be like that. I have rcbs dies and have read that some brands do not work correctly due to dimension differences. Scott If it cant be Grown it has to be Mined!
