45 colt dies and 454 casull brass
I picked up a 454 Casull and will probably get brass for it soon.
Has anyone here used or knows if you can use 45 colt dies?
Seems to me it would be a bit like the .38/357 die set up.

The same as 38/357 and 44spl/44mag, you can use the 45 colt dies backed out the same distance as the difference between the two case lengths. Many use a washer between the die lock ring and the press. If it's 1/10th of an inch, use a 1/10th thick washer and the die will size, seat, and crimp fine.

Thanks cal
I figured it would be like that. I have rcbs dies and have read that some brands do not work correctly due to dimension differences.
