I found a box of soft point bullets from DKT, marked as custom made for the 700 NE. Out of curiosity, I weighed them. They are supposed to be 1,000 grains each. Weight varied between 987.1 to 999.8. They are obviously made in dies, with a lead core, and for their intended purpose they are just fine. But this got me thinking that CNC turned bullets are held to much tighter weight tolerance. | ||
