If it's a Ruger or CZ and has a long throat, I can use 53.5 gr. H414 with the 140 Nosler and it goes 3038 fps out of a 22 in. barrel. This is in Win. cases and should be worked up to as should any top load. I think RL19 should also work well, I just haven't tried it. My standard load is 50.5 H414 with the 160 Nosler which gives 2817 fps, shoots 1-1.25 in. and kills anything that's hit well. This is my favorite hunting round, and I've shot a lot of the latter load.

I have used both R 19 and H414 with the 140gr. partitions, love both of them. I get good accuracy and good velocity with both powders. If i had to choose between the two though, I would choose H414, because it measures easier than R 19. But don't get me wrong both are great in the 7 X 57. I use 48gr. of H414 and get 0.625 groups with 2858fps. With R 19 I use 51.5gr. and get 0.500 groups with 2801fps. These loads are for my gun so work up slowly. By the way my velocities are chronographed for ten shots, max difference between velocities on each powder was 30fps. Good enough for me... Hope this helps you Britt
