Hey guys,

I have a bunch of brass I had purchased for when I was going to have a 416 Taylor with a longer neck. It is basic magnum brass (I think barnes brand maybe?) I have probably 100 rounds of it. I was just going to sell it but a buddy of mine just got a 338 lapua. I could give it to him but don't know if it is long enough or would work for the lapua?

Thanks guys.

338 Lapua is 2.724" However the head is .590 not the .532 of your brass.

As usual just my $.02

I believe the Lapua has a larger head diameter and is a beltless cartridge.
Not something I would attempt.

Absolutely won't work except in a parallel universe,
and if you try it, you might not make it back out of the wormhole.

It is an order of magnitude worse than what Gert is doing here:
