Do any of you guys have any experience with the Hornady die add-on that is a micrometer adjust system. Is it any good, will it only fit down into a Hornady die or is it interchangable with other brands?

I have one (Hornady) in .308 and one in .220 Swift.
I haven't tried it in any of my other dies, but I don't see why it would not fit others.
I really like mine.It stays put.And it is nice because you can log the settings for different bullets.

Hornady's micro adjuster isn't compatible with any other brand, only Hornady seaters. And it does work with all calibers of the Hornady seaters, it is not caliber specific as it only provides a stop for the bullet cup. They work well. If the dimensional tolerances of the internals of the seaters were a bit closer it would rival the Forster and Redding micrometer seaters for concentric bullet seating.

IMO micrometer settings on bullet seating are for amateurs. Folks that don't really know which variables are contributing to accuracy. Precision of COAL has nothing to little to do with accuracy.

It's a marketing gimmick and not a real reloading tool.

Beg to differ. This little reloader uses one for the many different settings for many different bullets in many different loads for various different rifles.
EG. 80 gr. Sierra, stem = 537
55 gr. Hornady stem = 350
etc. etc.
