Hi does anyone tried this new powder? according norma it will give a 100 fps more in many calibers . they give 2800 fps for 180 gr in 3006!. it is very near those high energy loads from hornady and federal. regards Yazid Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

That's not really noteworthy -- it's not very difficult to get 2800 f.p.s. from 180 gr. bullets in the 30-06 using any of a number of readily-available powders, and you can do it in most modern bolt action rifles with 22 inch barrels. You can do it with IMR or H 4350, with IMR or H 4831, with RL-22, and probably with a number of others. "How's that whole 'hopey-changey' thing working out for ya?"

I don't believe anyone in the U.S. is importing Norma powders right now. This seems to be an off again-on again thing here. URP - do you mean Earp? "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."
