Im looking for suggestions regarding the best 125 gr hollow point bullet to use for reloading. Im looking for really good expansion. All comments and suggestions are welcome!

What caliber? What are you going to shoot with the bullets?

Gee, that was stupid huh? Left out the most important piece of info. I am going to be loading 38 special and possibly 38 special +P.

I really like the rem 125. load them in my 38 and 357 having shot some game with them always have had perfect expansion out of them. Shot a yote at 30 yards out of my 2" 38 920 muzzle vel bullet expanded to 73 cal and drop the yote it its tracks.

Well, my main purpose for shooting is for self defense. I need something that has alot of "knock down" power. Or ay least as much as i can get out of my 38. I like the 125 grain as i seem to shoot better with it.

Try Hornady XTP's, for self defense I think you'll find them quite good. luck hotdog

Generally speaking, which had batter expansion---jacketed hollow points such as the speer gold dot or SEMI- jacketed hollow points?
