Guess the title says it all, what is the best way to split a case from neck mouth to case head. Either that or fine tooth hacksaw. Either way, deburr either with a stone or a piece of 220 grit sandpaper on a flat surface. for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside | |||

Some guys will fill the case with clear epoxy, let it harden, and then the job is much easier. Ray Arizona Mountains | |||

Any old blunt hacksaw will cut it off just above the trouble area, then you can see in easely. | |||

Using the thinnest cutoff wheel in a dremel rotary grinder is one way but if you want a real nice looking case when you are done a hack saw, with a very fine blade, cutting the case lengthwise is probably going to give you the best cut you can get with hand tools. You could take it to a machinist and have them mill it off but I doubt it is worth that much money to you. Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page. | |||
