Guess the title says it all, what is the best way to split a case from neck mouth to case head. Would like to check for thinning at the web, do-nuts, etc.

Dremel tool with a cutter wheel?

Either that or fine tooth hacksaw.

Either way, deburr either with a stone or a piece of 220 grit sandpaper on a flat surface.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Some guys will fill the case with clear epoxy, let it harden, and then the job is much easier.

Any old blunt hacksaw will cut it off just above the trouble area, then you can see in easely.

Getting it back together if it's still good is the real problem.

Using the thinnest cutoff wheel in a dremel rotary grinder is one way but if you want a real nice looking case when you are done a hack saw, with a very fine blade, cutting the case lengthwise is probably going to give you the best cut you can get with hand tools. You could take it to a machinist and have them mill it off but I doubt it is worth that much money to you.

Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page.
