I've used Accubonds in 338, 358,366 and 375 and accuracy with all of them has been very good. At least as good as 6mm,25,264,270,7mm and 30 cal.

My 338/06 shoots 180gr AB's over RL-15 very well, certainly MOA. That particular rifle is one of the most accurate I have. I have some 250's but have not tried them. I also shoot AB's in various grains in my 270, 280, 30-06 & 300 Wthby. They are more accurate in some than the other but all will do 1.5" or better at 100yds if I am doing my job.

30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.

I've found the Accubonds to shoot to the same point of impact as the same weight/diameter of Ballistic Tip. And Ballistic Tips are more often than not the most accurate bullet in most of my rifles. The two bullets shooting to the same point of impact is useful in load development since the B.Tips are a little less expensive than the Accubonds.

Insofar as .338+ Accubonds, I've only used the 225/.338 and it provides outstanding accuracy in my Sako. A 180/.30 does well in my .300 H&H, and a 190/.30 LR Accubond turns in excellent accuracy in my .300 WBY (I've taken elk with these Accubonds in each of these .30 magnums.) A 150/.30 from a .30-06 seems to expand amply on game as light as whitetails.

I have used 180 and 200gr accubonds in my two 338-06AIs. Accuracy is excellent with both. I also use 6.5 and 7mm accubonds as well in my 6.5x55, 6.5-06, 7x57, and .280. They shoot great and they work great on game too.

I've got plenty of experience with .277, .284 & .308 Accubonds but only limited experience with the 225 .338 pill.
It shot just okay in my 338 Win Mag but shot like a bench gun in my 340 Wby! Why the difference? I'll never know except for knowing that all guns are different.

They have been mediocre in terms of accuracy for me. I suspect they are capable of very good accuracy and will keep trying them where I can’t find an appropriate TTSX. I was impressed with their on-game performance.

I use the 200AB exclusively in a custom 300 RUM. EXCELLENT performance on game from 300 to over twice that on elk and deer.

Shoot straight, shoot often.
