I tried some in a 30-06 once. I found it at the range. It seemed alright, but it was really tough to resize, even with the inside of the neck lubed it didn't want to release the expander ball.

Might have just been that lot, I don't know. My preference is for Winchester brass--I've had as good a luck with it as even Norma and Lapua.

The only PMC brass I have ever used is 9mm, and there is no problem with it.

PMC 9mm, no problem at all.

30-30win, 5 rnds 5 splits
I pulled and dumped the rest.
This was all range brass so I guess thats the hazards of picking stuff up (and in fact I don't pick up rifle brass at all unless its shiny new) I have never heard anything bad about PMC brass.

I haven't used alot of PMC brass but the stuff I do use is very good. There are only two different rifles I use this brass in.

First is my Howa 1500SA Varminter in 223. PMC brass is made to military specs so it is very stout, but also needs a little attention when reloading to get the best results. My rifles favorite load is a 40 gr Ballistic Silvertip over 27.5 gr H-335 over a CCI-BR4 primer in prepped PMC cases and averages 3650 fps. This load will average 3/8" five shot groups at 100 yards.

My other rifle is an LAR 50 BMG Match rifle. I use ONLY PMC brass that are heavily prepped into match ammo. With its favorite load, 750 gr A-Max(moly), 225.0 gr H-50BMG and a CCI-35, good for 2735 fps. This load will consistantly punch 3/4 moa groups at ranges out to one mile and I have fired a few very good sub 1/2moa groups at 1000 yards.

So I am happy with PMC brass but as I stated, I prep my brass a great deal, unprepped brass may not perform as well.

Good Shooting!!!
