Kelbly rings are usually installed on benchrest guns. They may or may not be designed for the recoil of a .300RUM sporter. Contact Kelbly directly and ask them; I know Talleys will handle the recoil. George ------------------

The Kelblys are a very lightweight ring. For strength I would be inclined to go with the Talleys or Warnes. Regards, Bill.

I've been using Kelbly rings, the 30mm double screw model with a Nightforce scope on a 7mm STW and a 300 Win Mag for about a year and a half now. No problems with ring strength.

I am not that familiar with the Kelby, but the Talley rings and bases I own are excellent. ------------------

Let me know what ones you get and how they work out. I looked at the others but the price was more than I could afford. I have Burris signatures on my 300 RUM for over 400 hot loads with no trouble. I like the off set bushing. I am building a new LR gun with a custom action so maybe for that gun.
