Speer manual #14 shows 5.5gr start charge and 6.5gr max charge for 230gr RN TMJ Speer bullet with Unique and 1.260 OAL. I have Zero bullets 230gr round nose FMJ. Should I use the same recipe for the Zeros? I am loading for a 1911 with 5" barrel and want to use 1.260 OAL which seems to feed well. I'm not sure that the TMJ Speer and FMJ Zero are equivalent. | ||

those are good numbers to work with, i use 6 with my cast loads. | |||
