Speer manual #14 shows 5.5gr start charge and 6.5gr max charge for 230gr RN TMJ Speer bullet with Unique and 1.260 OAL. I have Zero bullets 230gr round nose FMJ. Should I use the same recipe for the Zeros? I am loading for a 1911 with 5" barrel and want to use 1.260 OAL which seems to feed well. I'm not sure that the TMJ Speer and FMJ Zero are equivalent.

those are good numbers to work with,
i use 6 with my cast loads.
