I'm assuming that this is the plant that produces (or processes and packages), among other things, the Accurate line if handloading powders. Seems it is completely gone, along with as many as 19 employees.
Ya', appears that is the plant that made/ packaged "Accurate" powders for reloading, among many other propellants for other uses. Thoughts and Prayers for those effected..... Not good for the industry. Just gives the 'snow flakes' more ammo when it concerns dangerous and/or dirty manufacturing,,,,, like making forgings or mining coal,,,, or drilling for hydrocarbons. Something happened, a laps in safety protocols, something. May be awhile before a 'reason' is found. Like ATFE doesn't have enough 'on their plate' as it is.

"Accurate" branded powders are made and sourced from many places. However this is the Accurate company's facility near McEwen, Tn where numerous propellants and explosives of all types (including some small arms propellants) are made and stored. It is (well, was) NOT a government facility, but rather a facility owned and operated by Accurate, a government contractor (as well as a manufacturer and marketer of reloading powders).
