What do you think are the best primers on the market for shooting in cool-cold weather conditions and why (10-32 degrees). This past Christmas break I was sighting in my wife's 7x57 which the rifle and ammo had sat in the porch overnight, then I took it out on the trail. The temperature was 0 degrees F. I used WLRM primers. I use the mag primers for everything anyway so I can't tell you how they compare to anything else. I have never, ever had a misfire. ------------------

for your own peace of mind, you might switch to magnum primers. I have never had a primer failure. Cold or wet. If you switch to magnums, I would make it complete and use them year round.

It gets down to 40-below (F) here, and I have NEVER had a primer fail to ignite...regardless of type or make.

I use Winchester ball powders and Winchester standard primers and I've never had a round fail to fire, and I have been out shooting when it was 0 degree F.
