| If hogdon doesn't have published data on it I'd email them. I'd "guess" it's too slow. But then again today I loaded up some real long 200 grain accubonds and crunched them down to 3.340 in my 300 win mag. 84 grains being compressed that much is quite a sound but they shoot good and that's a hodgdon recomended load. It's cranking 2950 out of my 24" barrel in my cheap ($279) savage/stevens with fine accuracy. |

| I agree with kraky Retumbo is to slow. But I'd suggest you take a look at IMR 7828. |

| I had e-mailed hodgdon about retumbo in the 257 wby. They replied that it was too slow.
