This may sound like a silly question, but is it possible to make 9 mm Makarov brass from 9 mm Luger brass? The dimensions look very similar, with the exception of the bullet which is a tiny bit bigger. Thanks.

You sure can...I have done it many, many times. Trim the 9mm Luger brass to 0.705", expand the neck using a Makarov die, and the first shoot will fire-form the case. The process is described in the Speer Manual # 12. Maybe later versions also, but I don't have one. Good-luck...BCB

I did it, early-on, and it worked okay, but when I could get the Starline hulls, I jumped to them.
