they work for me but i did have a batch of 55 gr rems that the crimping grove was all over the place may try winchester next time. accracy wise they grouped about as good as the more expensive ones depends on the load and gun.you have to play with them but the same is true for premium bullets.

I have ruger M77 223 with aftermarket trigger. Using Winchester bulk 55 gr sp, chinese powder BW36 (no longer available thanks to Buddy Bill), and surplus brass it will group less than 1 inch 5 shot groups. Wish I could find some more of that powder.

I have had excellent accuracy with the 55 gr. Rem PLHP in the .223 and the 50 gr. PLHP in the .222. They are my main varmint bullets. The Rem. SPs also shoot OK, but not nearly as well as the HPs. The Win. 55 gr. SP shoots about like the Rem. SPs. The PLHP is also really explosive on prairie dogs, ground squirrels, and rockchucks.
