Gotta like a guy who runs a household where primers can be found lying about the dinner table.

Some dogs, when puppies, will chew darned near anything up and eat it (or at least some of it).

Black Labs seem to be particularly well known for that, and are sometimes "chewers" up until about age two. My best lab (after he grew up), was a case in point. In his first two years, he chewed and/or ate all the shingles off his double cedar shingled dog house, Then he ate all the electrical cords off of my shop equipment, one library book, the corner off of the TV set, one seat cushion of the living room leather sofa, and the soft top off of my Mercedes 190SL (this was back in the 60's).

I was a slow learner, but I learned the expensive way...it seems to be an owner's obligation to keep his dogs safe from chewing on stuff like that. They don't know better at a young age and when left alone can become bored. Then they will putz with and chew on darned near anything that looks interesting.

I agree with the pharmacist. I'd definitely get him a blood test to make sure he is all right, just like I would for a human kid who was at the age where they put anything in their mouths and often swallow too.

Obama Dog??? Democrat??? Your Dog is obviously a member of the anti gun crowd. Crewing up primers and a gun case. I like animals but I think depending on what gun case it was I may have a dog with a .45 hole in its head.

I agree. Something was fishy when the turd claimed the dog ate over 1000 primers.

Yeah dogs usually chew on anything that small and I am sure it would set off a primer.
