What is the velocity of this load ? Can someone give a rough idea please.
7mm RM
63.5 grains of RE-22
Sierra 140 grain SptBt.
24" barrel.
I can't chronograph the load since I shot my chrony.

There are two types of people who own chronys those who have shot them and whose who well shoot them.
I haven't destroyed one like that but have hit the edge.

If you measure the water capacity of a fired case up to level with the case mouth we can do a more precise calc.
The number generated by using the default case size on QL may be a touch high otherwise.

Code4I have a set of professional quality electronic jewellers scales calibrated in grains.
An empty twice fired case weighed 237 grains and was measured twice. Filled with pool water to the brim (No visible miniscus) it weighed 322.4 grains.
Capacity 85.4 grains.
If someone can help with this new input I'd appreciate it.
The Chronograph death was instigated by a .416 Rigby and 400 grain Hornady RNSP over 106 grains of H2213sc. Death was instantaneous. All I saw was the tripod legs cartwheeling down range. A memorial wake was help in the shed and the carcass is now resting under my Springbok shoulder mount, Eland and Camel skull.

Code4Thx Ghubert, I don't know why people talk about you the way they do mate.
No sooty necks with twice fired and then neck resized brass. Accuracy is the same with 140 Nosler AB's. <1" at 100 yards.
Here's the other end of the Chrony. This is the 2nd in 15 years. Next time I'll bore sight over the new chrony before hitting the tit. Mother always said I was a slow learner......

and all the blabbers about "x is better than Y" due to skyscreens... which means you can shoot the skyscreens for cheaper than the whole thing...

LuckyduckerCode4, I have an F1 Shooting Chrony that I would send you to use for target practice on if you would be willing to pay the shipping! I have already shot a ProChrono that I really liked but I quit taking this F1 to the range so I will never get the joy of putting this POS out of my misery.
