I purchased a bunch of new brass cases today and was shocked at how small the cases were. The 223 brass was .371 and the 308 Win brass was .463 at the head ![]() bigbull

LOL I took some stuff in to the scrap yard a few weeks ago. The price of scrap yellow brass is Way up . ![]() ![]() ![]() So maybe they are just doing some cost cutting ![]() Just think , they saved what 5 , maybe 10 grains a case Just think after 1,000,000 they have a few $$ I have seen some that I thought was small , but not that small Head sizes like that could cause extraction problems , if not worse Johnch NRA life Delta Pheasants Forever DU Hunt as if your life depended on your results

That's wild. I measured a few cases from a bag of factory new Remington 308 brass that I bought yesterday, it miked at .469" compared to .4709" in the Speer manual. ![]() sputster

That is excellent and would work perfectly, In my case I'm not shure if I should try to fireform it or return it, I know that I would get a pretty big bulge at the head! ![]() bigbull
