I am loading up some ammo for my new 6.5X57.
I have a little in my old hornady manual.
But I want some data for H-414. I am planning to use this powder with a 125 grain Nosler partition.

I believe you can use starting loads given for the 6.5X55 to begin working up.... they are similar in case capacity..... If anything, the 57mm case holds a couple of grains more than the 55mm case...

But I bet I can go up alot from most 6.5 loads, as my rifle is a 98 and most swede loads are held back a bit...tj3006

How this? chrony your loads, stop at 260 velocities.+/- 25f/s for barrel length. The 260 case is smaller. This only works if your barrel is fairly standard.I had a FN 264 barrel that ran 300f/s slow. What idiot thought all those lands would work in 264?

You can hunt longer with the wind at your back
