Guess I'm a novice. I've never even had a primer go off accidentally, yet. I must admit that pushing the envelope doesn't appeal to me very much. Most of my rifles shoot best with loads in the mid to lower range. IMHO a 7mm mag with 'light loads' is still a 7mm mag.
