I have no experience with either one. Which would you choose for a bolt action 6.5 Grendel??? As usual just my $.02 Paul K

After doing some more research and reading the 100 or so reviews on the Hornady SST and AMAX Grendel ammo on Midway I ordered 200 Hornady SSTs. Couldn't beat the price. If they shoot well in my rifle great. If not I have components. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

At Grendel velocities the A-Max should work very well on game. I have had very impressive accuracy form the 123 A-Max in the .260, 6.5x284, and 6.5-06. The SST has also been pretty good and to be honest, I have not noticed the SST to be any less violent in expansion than the A-Max. I think you would be happy with either from the Grendel. If you ever find a deal on the 100 grain Partition, they are excellent on game.
